Product Description:  Personal Assistant lends a hand to assist both your users and your support staff.  Personal Assistant will help reduce the number of support calls from users by placing the power of Active Directory within their reach.  It will be the users' first place to look for information while freeing up your support staff to work on other projects.  This pro-active tool enables users to help themselves by doing the following:

  • Send a support request without the use of email.  Your users just need to type the purpose of their request and important information is automatically attached to the request such as computer name, OS, etc.  Make their requests more meaningful to you and your staff.
  • Look up user information of other employees such as phone numbers, email addresses, photographs, etc.  It acts as a virtual phone/email directory for your company.
  • Alert your users when system issues arise.  A quick and easy replacement for the net send command which was removed from Windows Vista.  The ability to target messages to certain groups is available as well. Optional with Personal Assistant Messaging.
  • Alerting the user that their password is about to expire.  Alerts via Personal Assistant and email are available.
  • Allowing the user to lock his/her workstation. 
  • Open URLs such as the company intranet, help desk home page, etc.  This option is completely customizable for your environment.
  • Easily deployed via Active Directory, SMS, or any other software deployment tool.
